Sunset on the River

Phone picture of my camera.
Also good time to explain the strap I have for it.
I got the strap in fall or winter of 2019.
I first was looking for a new strap and thought of my first anime were one of the characters was using a 7d mark 2.

So looking at ebay I found one for about 9 USD brand new in the oem bag.

Not totally relevant to this thread, but why do I want an old “professional-grade” HDV camcorder? Arrrgh… why does my interest in old video formats infest me so?

Yo, some of them, esp the Canon ones go for serious money still lol.

Indeed… I never said I was the most rational buyer, just that I find interest in weird shit… lol

That was more me being surprised they still go for that much, not me rebuking you in any way for wanting it lol.

I still wanna edit the RAW version of this photo, but he’s still a good bee

From the county fair.
I think the colors came out very good

Rebuilt Den-Fi.com using Ghost. The previous iteration used Koken, which hasn’t been updated in YEARS, and not the official site is completely gone. It was a good run, but I am MUCH happier with how much more modern Ghost looks.

Just came back home from a week-long vacation around the country with some friends. I ended up with almost 50GBs worth of photos, so… that’ll be fun.

I’m too tired at the minute to bother sorting through all of them to send them out and edit, but I thought I’d at least edit this one tonight. I wish I had maybe a slightly wider lens (this was taken at 24mm), but I feel it still turned out nicely regardless.

More photos likely coming soon™

Old server, old camera. And what a beautiful camera it is.

Addendum.

Man, that top shot.
I love how much the detail on the lens and top dials pops.

Well I noticed this lines up perfectly

Some very, very old work of mine.

Fun fact: I fucking suck at photography. Also fun fact: these pictures were brought to you by a single 100 watt equivalent LED light bulb stuck to a Walmart lamp.

…well, except for this picture: this was brought to you by two 100 watt LED bulbs and two Walmart lamps!

slip and slide kick ball, I had some really good shots.

(lightly edited on a chromebook)

Some food pictures from my first paid shoot for a vegan restaurant.
