Wagon with new tires!
Today is Veterans Day, and what better way to honor this day than to take a picture of the American flag?
I decided to test taking a (very slightly) long exposure and low light picture.
Happened to be walking around town with a camera recently, so I took a quick shot of this⌠interesting specimen, for the heck of it.
Not the colors I would have chosen, but sheâs definitely distinctive!
EDIT: Does anyone know why fuji photos look just slightly under-saturated when embedded? I feel like I see this on discord quite a bit, and now here tooâŚ
Colors are a nod to the Ford GT40 form 196(8?) which was sponsored by Gulf, so it got the company colors

Could be converting to display in a different color⌠profile, I guess itâs called? Could be a Chromium-specific thing.
On an unrelated note, I got a new lens for my camera: a 28-135mm EF lens with image stabilization!
This one was fairly cheap because it has some dust inside the lens itself, but it doesnât seem to impact the image quality at all, so I donât care.

Sucks, but at least I got the opportunity to take pictures of my car in the airportâs parking garage.
This environment would probably work a lot better with a lens that has a bit of a higher aperture, but all things considered, this turned out alright.
I needed to get out the house to escape my own shit thoughts. That turned out to be a good idea, honestly, not only so I could blow off steam by driving instead of being bored, but also because I found a great location to get pictures at: unused street entrances!
Donât worry - a lot of people like to park their cars here when they go for walks in the area and the cops donât care. Unfortunately for me, some old couple in a Nissan Versa ended the photo shoot for me as they opted to park right next to where my car was. Oh well.
Snowfall in Huntsville: itâs a rare phenomenon, but we got quite a lot of it last night.
If this looks a little greasy, itâs not because I did anything in particular, itâs just that I needed to clean off some Goo Gone with some water and not some wipes.
