I miss having a DSLR. I could get myself a mirrorless camera like ones from Fujifilm but travel is pretty much difficult for me.
Ingenuity breeds the best ideas - and that’s exactly what happened when I found an old SLR camera and cheap sheets of paper from Walmart.
On a related note, the camera I got - which was a Canon EOS Rebel 2000, by the way - gave me another lens to play around with: an EF-mount 28-80mm zoom lens. So of course that meant I was gonna take pictures of my car with this lens.
I would also like to apologize in advance for some of the pictures being slightly shaky. These have auto-focus, but they don’t have any auto-stabilization and I’m about as physically stable as Michael J. Fox - and about as mentally stable as Mrs. Puff.
The RenderWare sticker on the back of my Saturn just keeps getting more meta as the days go on.
I don’t think I ever dropped this here so I feel like I gotta. All hail the point, focus, and shoot iPhone pic.

So Fake… may have found a keebDweeb club on campus, and gone to see what all the fuss was about.
Two hours and 200 mostly terrible photos later, I have realized a heretofore undiscovered NEED for shiny new keycaps, and a desire for a Saturn60 that’s not going to leave me anytime soon.
Also, Tofu60 is so cute!
And here’s MT3 Laser, the keycap set that I now inexplicably need… I remember being drawn to it’s marketing materials upon launch, but I thought I’d escaped it… Something to pick up in future.
PS: I brought the Abko along (don’'t have any photos of it on this laptop) and actually received quite a few compliments on the typing feel! May have converted a few more people to the dome side
. Thanks again Den!
